Man rescued from blazing flat

A MAN suffering from the effects of smoke has been rescued from a fire in a first floor flat in Kent.

Firefighters were called to the blaze in Mount Ephrain Road, Tunbridge Wells, at about 10.50pm on Saturday.

The fire crews, from Tunbridge Wells and Rusthall, spent almost 40 minutes controlling the blaze.
