A MAN was rescued from the ninth floor of a building at Dungeness Power Station after becoming trapped.

The 53-year-old was stuck 40ft in the air on a cradle used for cleaning windows after power failed.

A specialist fire and rescue team from Deal was brought in to retrieve the man who was taken to hospital, suffering from shock.
