A man's been winched off a container ship off the coast of Dover and taken to hospital after suffering serious head injuries.

The coastguard was called at 10.30pm on Saturday to an incident around five miles out to sea.

The injured man, who was in his 30s, was transferred to a lifeboat and then a rescue helicopter, which flew him to the QEQM hospital in Margate.
