AN 18-year-old woman had the windscreen of her car smashed by a man who hit her car with one of his crutches.

The woman claims she had just turned into Scocles Road, Minster, when she saw the man shortly before he hit her car, breaking the front windscreen.

The incident caused £180 worth of damage to the car.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He has been released on bail.
