Man wanted for bottle attack

Police are investigating an assault in a wine bar in St Margaret’s Street, Canterbury, in the early hours of Friday morning.

It happened shortly before 1am when a 20-year-old man was involved in an altercation with another man who allegedly hit him with a glass bottle.

He was taken to Kent and Canterbury hospital for treatment to the laceration on his forehead.

The suspect is described as being a white male, aged around 18-years-old, of slim build with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey shirt.
