A 44-YEAR old Maidstone man was found dead this morning on a beach in Sheerness.

The man, whose name has not yet been released, was found in a white Ford Mondeo near the town's Barton Point nature reserve, at 8am.

Paramedics who were called to the scene, could not revive him.

A police spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances.

His name will not be released until his next-of-kin have been informed
