A 28-year-old man suffered a cut throat and facial injuries when he was attacked with a bottle in a street fight.

He was taken to hospital but it is understood his injuries are not life-threatening

The incident happened in York Street in Ramsgate at around 1.30am on Saturday. The victim comes from Ramsgate.

Police say a 23-year-old man, also from Ramsgate, has been arrested and bailed until Sunday, November 7, in connection with the attack.
