A Supermarine Spitfire, pictured, and a Hawker Hurricane will swoop over the National Memorial to the Few at Capel-le-Ferne.

The flypast will mark the 71st anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The memorial stages a short remembrance service on Battle of Britain Day every year, taking place on Thursday, September 15.

The two aircraft will soar overhead at 11.05am but the Spitfire will also be flying over the Memorial on Wednesday, September 14, and both aircraft will again be in the skies above Capel-le-Ferne on Friday, September 16.
