Changes will be made for Gillingham’s league trip to Northampton on Tuesday night.
Gills boss Martin Allen will be without Danny Jackman (pictured) through suspension and is also likely to mix his team up again – after playing an unchanged side for the first time this season against Rochdale at the weekend.
Allen said: "It was the same team that we played at Port Vale, to get some kind of continuity, and I thought they deserved to play after having a week to rest and train but it didn’t work."
The Northampton game may be too early for Allen to be able to call upon Charlie Lee or Jack Payne. Both are on the way back from injury.
Lee (knee) was "not quite fit" for the weekend while Payne (groin) is undergoing a bout of intensive training to get him up to full fitness.
Allen said: "I have had a chat with Jack and it’s been stop- start for him so far coming through with me. Jacko will do a bit of extra work than the other players, which, in the long term, will do him good and will be good for the team.
"He is a great lad and I really enjoy his company so we will do a bit extra for a week or so. "We started on Monday and we are working to get him a bit fitter, faster and stronger. I think Jack can help us go up to the next level. He is on the periphery of it at the moment."
Jackman misses the next three matches while Bradley Dack serves the last of his three-game ban for his sending-off.
