Gillingham boss Martin Allen will carry on rotating his squad after making it four wins out of four.
The Gills are one of only two clubs in League 2 with a perfect record after Saturday’s 2-1 win at Dagenham – a match that saw Allen again make five changes to his team.
Allen has given an insight into the selection policy that has seen the Gills carry on winning, despite regularly making changes to his team.
Explaining the reasons behind the chopping and changing, Allen said: "I never drop anybody, we might leave people out, or rest them.
"In those cases we try and rejuvenate them, encourage and support, and get them back on the field of play as soon as possible. They have all got to be ready."
Allen left Danny Kedwell on the bench at Dagenham. Charlie Lee skippered the side and there was no place at all for new signing Adam Barrett.
Allen explained: "Danny has done a fantastic job, got himself into really good condition and shape, and I told him on Thursday he wasn’t going to start.
"Adam had a sore ankle on Friday and he said he would see how it was in the morning. "I told him ‘I don’t think so’. He could come to the game, but wasn’t going to play because I have got a fantastic centre-back in Callum Davies and that was it."
