Martin Allen plans to make some surprise changes to his championship-winning team at Burton this weekend – but the mentality stays the same.
The Gills boss (pictured) said: "We will put out a team that will do Gillingham proud and we are going there to win."
Coming in for their debuts are right-back Mahlon Romeo, left-back Sam Muggleton and young forward Harry Grant.
Allen took the unuusual step of announcing his team during Thursday's pre-match press conference.
He said: "I have spoken with the Football League and the (Gills) chairman and the club secretary.
"I have had a chat with myself to make sure I am doing the right thing for the football club, the supporters and the players. And I know I am doing the right thing.
"All of our players are travelling to Burton, everyone will be there with us. We are not going overnight, we are going on the day. It’s an easy journey to Burton.
"I will take the team for Thursday and Friday training and I know the supporters trust me."
The team for Burton, is set to be: Forecast, Romeo, Davies, Frampton, Muggleton, Gregory, Dack, Allen, Grant, Birchall, Weston.
The only players in that team who started last week's game against AFC Wimbledon are Steven Gregory and Charlie Allen. Loan signing Danny East was due to start but injured his thigh in training.
Allen said: "We are going to put a team out to absolutely have it with them (Burton) and there is no messing about here. I have spelt that out (to the players) in no uncertain terms."
