Dover boss Martin Hayes claimed Dartford "stole" the points as they won 2-0 at Crabble on Tuesday to claim their first Blue Square Bet South away win of the season.

Hayes (pictured) said: "We totally battered them, had all the game and did everything but score. I didn’t expect to get beat and felt like I have been burgled.

"I wasn’t disappointed by the performance. We played well and didn’t deserve the result. We conceded a stupid silly first goal straight from a corner and Dartford’s second came from a breakaway."

He added: "The celebrations after beating Gillingham are all out of the system now and all Adam Birchall’s good nights and days caught up with him in one evening. It was a derby game, we had another good crowd and they went home disappointed."

Defender Tom Wynter suffered a recurrence of an ankle injury against Dartford, and will have treatment at training on Thursday but is rated doubtful for the trip to Boreham Wood on Saturday.
