Masked raiders threatened supermarket workers with sledgehammers before stealing a cash trolley on Saturday night.

The gang struck at the Kings Hill branch of Asda at about 9.30pm.

They used the sledgehammers to smash their way into the store before threatening staff and stealing the cash trolley.

It is not yet known how much money the trolley contained.
