The famous Mazda MX-5, launched in 1989, has sold more than 600,000 worldwide and shows no signs of waning in popularity. With sales heading to an all-time record this year, the MX-5 is a much sought-after car new and second hand. Starting at £14,995 it is offered with either a 1.6 or 1.8 litre engine.
For those with large families, there is the seven-seat MPV powered by the powerful yet frugal 2.0 136ps common-rail diesel or the responsive 2.3 litre petrol engine; this people mover carries seven in comfort and starts at £18,495.
For those who want space and comfort, but do not need seven seats there is the Mazda Premacy. Available with either a 1.8 or 2.0 litre petrol or 2.0 litre diesel, it boasts ease of access and egress, substantial load space and a seat configuration that makes it either a spacious people carrier or useful load lugger. It starts at £12,995.
For those with four-wheel drive or towing requirements, there is the Mazda Tribute. This 4x4 is as competent on the road as off the road and prices start at £15,995 for the two-wheel drive version.
Finally there is the Mazda B-Series pick-up, available as either a stretch cab, double cab or single cab. It will appeal to those who have business requirements for good load lugging matched to an ability to get across low friction areas with ease. It starts at £11,949.75 for the 4x2 single cab.
