A Medway school teacher was one of 11 people injured during the shooting tragedy in Cumbria, we can reveal.

Samantha Christie, was on holiday when taxi driver Derrick Bird embarked on his shooting rampage.

She was apparently shot int he face as she took a photograph in a country land near Doctor's Bridge, deep in the Cumbrian countryside.

She is still in Cumberland Infirmary and recovering well.
