Doctors just entered a whole new galaxy!

Former Dover schoolgirl Sonita Henry plays the role of the Starfleet Doctor who delivers James T Kirk into the world.

Sonita, 32, spent two weeks filming the short sequence of the new Star Trek film.

Her first major film role was in The Fifth Element, and she has since appeared in other films and television commercials.

Sonita went to the Girls' Grammar School and South Kent College in Dover, but has since swapped her terraced house in the town for a new home just outside Hollywood.
