But those from the Medway Towns lucky to gain entry through the Mote Park barriers didn't complain enjoying fine performances from some of the UK’s biggest chart stars, including the presence of veteran pop diva Madonna.

Hip hop star Nelly stole the show for Lisa Bain from Walderslade. She went along with partner Darren and friend Tracy.

Ticket holder Joanne Robinson from Rainham, got through security for an afternoon with the stars, including Matthew Horne and James Corden from BBC3 hit comedy Gavin and Stacey.
