Meeting to hear Bexley First future

COUNCILLORS will tonight decide on the future of the Bexley First project.

The cabinet meeting at 7.30pm will be a chance for councillors to decide on the selection process for developers hoping to build on the Civic Offices site in Bexleyheath.

There will also be the chance to discuss the re-provision of a public library on the Howbury Site and a £2.7million temporary accommodation plan.

The report has been recommended for approval.

The same meeting will see council bosses discuss the draft Sustainable Community Strategy document which sets out the aims of the Local Authority over the next decade.

Admissions arrangements for the council's schools in 2009/10 will also be discussed at the meeting.
