Family and friends of county councillor Kevin Lynes have gathered to say a final farewell.
Loved ones of the dad-of-two filed into St Mary's Church, in Lamberhurst, this lunchtime to celebrate his life at a colourful thanksgiving service.
All mourners were asked not to wear black for the lunchtime memorial, which followed a private burial service held this morning.
Relatives welcomed floral tributes or donations to the British Heart Foundation.
The 52-year-old, who lived in Goudhurst, represented Tunbridge Wells east on Kent County Council.
Mr Lynes died on Friday, March 30, after collapsing at a gym.
