Men appear in court over robbery charges

THREE young men have appeared in court on a series of firearms and robbery charges.

They were arrested by police investigating a spate of robberies of train commuters in Thamesmead and Abbey Wood.

Student Olatokunbo Fasina, 18, of Maran Way, Erith is charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

And unemployed Alieu Jallow, 18, of Wolvercote Road, Thamesmead, and Sheku Kamara, 20, of Godstow Road, Abbey Wood, are both charged with robbery and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

The trio appeared at Greenwich Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and were remanded in custody.
