One of the most famous British brands is returning to prominence this year.
The MG Motor Company begins production of its all-new MG6 hatchback and saloon in just a few weeks' time.
The MG6 is the centrepiece of the brand relaunch, which includes a new logo, branding, a programme of almost 30 new dealerships over the next year and, most importantly, facing up to the challenge of reconnecting customers with the brand.
MG executives at the relaunch were keen to point out that MG remains a thoroughly British brand with British products - the MG6 has been designed and developed in the UK by mainly British talent, still working at a design facility in the heart of Birmingham.
The first cars will begin appearing in dealerships in April this year, with a significant marketing campaign - including TV spots - in the coming weeks.
