Thamesmead also saw two players sent off but produced a fine 2-1 win at Heybridge Swifts in the FA Trophy Preliminary Round replay on Tuesday night.

After a 0-0 draw on Saturday, Heybridge struck first in the 36th minute and Mead striker Andy Constable was sent off after the interval but Gabriel Momodu equalised on the hour.

Lea Dawson struck the winner in the fifth minute of stoppage time but was shown a second yellow card for removing his shirt during his celebration.

Mead will now travel to fellow Ryman League Division One North side Great Wakering Rovers in the first round on October 16.
