There were mixed results for Kent sides in the FA Trophy preliminary round replays on Tuesday night.

Two goals in the first 10 minutes was enough for Thamesmead at Burgess Hill.

Rob Carter fired them in front after seven minutes and Rikki Cable added a second a minute later to set up a 2-0 win.

However, Folkestone Invicta crashed out following a 2-0 defeat at Merstham.

Liam Wright gave the home side the lead on eight minutes and they doubled their advantage early in the second half through Roscoe Dsane on a bad night for Invicta.

Meanwhile, Ramsgate lost their unbeaten home record after falling to a 1-0 defeat against Walton Casuals in Ryman League Division 1 South.

The fixture, re-arranged from the August Bank Holiday, was a scrappy affair sealed by a 32nd-minute Glenn Stanley strike.
