Maidstone United lost 4-2 at home to Hastings United despite taking an early lead in their Ryman League Premier Division encounter.
Stones went a goal up at Homelands through Anthony Bodle after seven minutes but two quick goals before the break put Hastings ahead.
A third and fourth goal for Hastingas came midway through the second half before the Stones pulled back a goal six minutes from time, again scored through Bodle.
It was Maidstone’s second defeats from their opening two games, and the Tonbridge Angels followed suit in their game against Bury Town. The Angels lost 3-2.

The visiting Chipstead team played the final ten minutes a man down after Louis Hollingsworth was sent off for a second bookable offence and the numbers were levelled in stoppage time as Ramsgate’s Liam Quinn was dismissed.
Folkestone Invicta secured their first point of the Ryman League Premier Division season with a 1-1 draw at Aveley on Monday night.
After a goalless first half, newly-promoted Invicta fell behind soon after the break to a speculative shot past Jack Delo into the bottom corner but 13 minutes from time Paul Jones (pictured) struck with a header to earn a deserved point.
Liam Friend went close to winning it for Folkestone at the death but they returned from Essex with a point.
