Dalston’s biggest export The Mighty Boosh, stars of three hit BBC TV series, are set to make entertainment history with an open air comedy and music festival this summer at the Hop Farm, near Paddock Wood.
Entertaining 30,000 fans, the award winning duo Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding AKA Howard Moon and Vince Noir, will delight revellers with their comical wizardry and take them on a hilarious journey from their Nabootique homeland to the ends of the comedy universe.
The duo descend from planet Boosh on Saturday, July 5 with a fusion of comedy, peppered with some of the music world’s biggest names, creating a spectacular festival experience.
Promoters Vince Power and Phil McIntyre said: “We thought long and hard about putting on a comedy festival and convinced the Mighty Boosh that they were the right choice for the first major open air comedy festival of its kind.”
Said Noel Fielding: “We’ve never played a music festival before and a comic has never headlined at a festival before so we are seizing the opportunity and doing both!”
