A MOTHER from New Romney has become an instant AirMiles millionaire after exchanging her Tesco Clubcard Vouchers for AirMiles.
Suzanna Bayliss was among customers who swapped their Clubcard points for AirMiles over the past few months and were automatically entered into a prize draw to win a million AirMiles.
Suzanna and her family, who now have the highest AirMiles balance in the country, plan to use their prize to visit relatives all over the world.
"I can't believe my luck," she said. "When AirMiles called to tell me the news I couldn't take it in. I literally had to pass the phone over to my husband to confirm what I'd heard."
Suzanna, who is married with two young daughters, is already planning trips to Canada and Australia where the family intends to visit long-lost relatives. "I have two elderly aunts that our children have yet to meet.
"Because family is so important to us, one of the first things we'll do with our amazing prize is pay them a visit."
With over a million AirMiles in her account, Suzanna intends to follow up these visits with a family trip to Houston, Texas to see her sister. In September, she also plans to take her mother to New York in celebration of her 60th birthday.
Sarah Wood, director of marketing at AirMiles, said: "Even after taking her family on all of these holidays, Suzanna will still have around 900,000 AirMiles. This is enough for 75 return flights to Sydney, a year-long stay in a five-star New York hotel or even 2,000 trips to Paris. With her AirMiles, Suzanna can book so much more than just flights and hotels. She could use her AirMiles to book anything from skiing holidays to cruises to adventure breaks... the world is her oyster."
Despite having the highest AirMiles balance in the country, Suzanna intends to continue collecting AirMiles. "We've been collecting for a number of years now, so of course we'll continue exchanging our Clubcard vouchers for AirMiles", Suzanna comments. "You can never have too much of a good thing. In fact, we've just changed our energy provider to Southern Electric to increase the number of AirMiles we collect."
Sarah Wood from AirMiles added: "This prize couldn't have gone to a nicer person. We have assigned Suzanna her own personal travel agent to help her make her bookings and hope she has a wonderful time exploring the world."
