It's not a cat-astrophe yet, but has anyone seen a puss who looks like the world's most famous German dictator?
Adolf (Kit-ler), who has a white muzzle and distinctive black moustache, marched off from his home in High Street, Queenborough, on Saturday and hasn't been seen since.
Owner Julie Bodiam rescued him from the Aesica site in the town's North Road last year and named him Adolf because of his striking resemblance to the leader of the Furred Reich.
It's not so much don't mention the paw, but don't mention the teeth as the poor moggie is missing all four of his front gnashers.
He was also due to have another one removed soon.
Mrs Bodiam is hoping nothing Naz-ti has happened to him.
"He does go out, but since I rescued him on December 6 last year, he hasn't really gone that far until Saturday," she said.
"He's really distinctive looking. The vet couldn't tell me how old he was, but he's probably middle aged."
Mrs Bodiam has posted letters about the tail around the town, but has not heard a whisker.
"He looks fierce, but he's a big softy really," she added. "I saved him from death during that really cold snap last year. It was reading -7 degrees in the car and he was struggling.
"I have five other cats and they miss him too."
