Missing cat returns home

A missing cat has returned home almost nine months after it went missing.

Tina Stilwell-Hunt couldn’t believe it when she opened the back door of her home and came face-to-face with Stimpy.

The last time Tina saw the tabby tom was in July last year as she left her home in Milburn Road, Gillingham, to go to work.

At the time of his disappearance Tina and her husband Phil put missing leaflets through doors, flyers on lampposts, contacted Medway Council, the local vets and RSPCA centre but their attempts to find their pet of 13 years, proved unsuccessful.

She said: “It’s like he’s never been away, but I’m baffled as to where he’s been for the past nine months. He appears to have been looked after by someone although he was starving when I opened the door to him.

“I’m hoping someone might be able to tell me where he’s been all this time.”
