A 16-year-old girl who had not been seen since Tuesday morning has turned up safe and well.

Police were concerned for the welfare of Sarah Horton after she went missing from her home address in Snowdown, near Dover.

She was due to get a train to Canterbury to meet a friend and attend college, but she failed to do either.

But she returned home on Thursday evening.
