POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a couple who have gone missing from Grimsby.
Joanne Maureen Marie Smith, 19, and her boyfriend, 28-year-old Muzacz Carneiro Carlos Bruno Dos Santos, were last seen on Monday, December 12.
It is thought the pair left the area together but police are concerned as Joanne Smith's family say it is completely out of character for her to go off and not make contact with anyone.
Her mother has been ill recently and Joanne has been concerned about her health but has not now been in contact for a week.
Joanne is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall, medium build, fair complexion, blue/green eyes, shoulder length straight brown hair, with a butterfly tattoo in the small of her back.
When last seen, she was wearing camouflage type combat jeans, blue V neck jumper, long earrings and silver diamond set necklace.
Her parents last saw her at 6pm on December 12 when she left the family address on Boundary Toad in Grimsby.
Bruno, who is Portuguese, is white, about 5ft 7ins tall, medium build, clean shaven with a tanned complexion, brown eyes, wearing a grey suit and a white and grey striped suit.
It is not known where the couple may have headed but it is thought they have left the local area and could now be anywhere in the country.
Police are urging the pair or anyone with information about their current whereabouts, to contact their families or Humberside Police on 0845 60 60 222.
