A POLICE officer who had been missing since earlier this week has been found.

James Haskell, 48, hadn't been seen since leaving his home in Honeyball Walk, Teynham, near Faversham, at 6.30pm on Tuesday.

Lifeboat crews, as well as police, were involved in an extensive search for Mr Haskell, who runs Green Street Photography with his wife and is a well known figure in the local community.

But he contacted police on Friday night to say he was safe and well.
