POLICE searching for missing Kent teenager Terry Reynolds say they are now talking to three men they appealed to come forward to help with their inquiries.
Yesterday officers released CCTV images showing the three men on New Year’s Eve at the Casino Rooms nightclub in Rochester. They were seen to walk with 19-year-old Terry when they left the club.
Following media appeals, one of the men in the photographs came forward to Kent Police and his two friends are now also talking to officers.
Terry has been missing since the early hours of New Year’s Day. He was last seen on CCTV in Star Hill, Rochester, just after midnight.
Detectives are currently following up information from calls made by the public following media appeals by Terry’s mother and father yesterday.
His mother Jane Reynolds said of him: "Terry is lovely natured and there is no reason for him to go missing. He always rings to let us know where he is. This is so out of character."
A number of people have rung the special hotline number 01634 792492 and officers are following up reports of possible sightings of Terry in and around Chatham.
Officers are today searching an area around the picnic site at Blue Bell Hill, near Chatham, and Coney Banks at Gillingham. A specialist tracker dog is also being used and air support is being provided by Essex Police.
Terry is white, 5ft 11in tall, of medium build with blue eyes, short black-cropped hair and a tanned complexion.
When he was last seen he was wearing jeans and brown shoes. He was also wearing a blue and green Fred Perry jumper with a white stripe running across the shoulders and lower down across the waist.
If you have seen Terry or have any other information concerning his disappearance telephone 01634 792492.
