Nearly 2,000 people flocked to a model railway exhibition at St George’s School, Broadstairs.

The turnout beat previous records for North Kent Model Railway Group’s annual two day show.

Visitors, who came from as far away as Germany and France, were able to enjoy 18 layouts in a variety of scales and sizes.

Work is already under way for next year’s exhibition, scheduled for November 28 and 29.
