Further rail services will be added this week as Southeastern increases trains following the lifting of the national lockdown.
The train company introduced a reduced timetable on November 16 to respond to falling demand after the second lockdown came into force.
But now it says, after monitoring demand, additional services will be added from Monday, December 7 - despite Kent being in Tier 3; the toughest level of the new restrictions.
It says the extra services will be added "particularly when trains are busiest" and intends to add further services on Monday, January 4.
They will include additional services on the Medway Valley Line, more morning services on the Bexleyheath line to London Charing Cross and direct morning and evening services between Ashford International and London Cannon Street. To find out full details, check Southeastern's website.
The rail firm urges all users to travel off-peak where possible, wear a face covering and maintain social distancing.
It has also updated its Christmas timetable for services between December 21-23. Travel between Christmas Eve and December 27, when up to three households will temporarily be allowed to mix as restrictions are lifted for a five-day period, will be confirmed on Saturday, December 12.
