A TEENAGE mother who has admitted child cruelty by neglect after her boyfriend sexually abused, tortured and murdered her 13-month-old daughter is awaiting sentence.

Sarah Hart, 19, had only been dating 23-year-old Ross Hammond of Manston Road, Ramsgate, for six weeks before Jade's death last July.

Hammond was jailed for life last month after the court heard he had inflicted more than 100 injuries on the toddler.

Hart, of Royal Road, Ramsgate, was not charged over her daughter's death.
