If you can spy a cooler car to be seen prowling the streets in right now than the all-new DBS then your a far sharper person than myself.

Like 007, this outrageously gorgeous car is shrouded in secrecy - it’s far too upmarket to have anything as mundane as a press release written about it.

But one thing is for sure, it has already landed itself in the Guinness Book of Records for the most rolls - it managed seven during a stunt sequence in the new Bond flick.

The movie used a total of five cars set - two for its new star Daniel Craig, who has won over initial critics with his tough yet far from invulnerable portrayal of Britain’s most suave secret agent.

A spokesperson for the famous motoring marque explained the DBS will be going into production next year and will have a strictly limited release.

Well, there is no set list price as yet but it is expected to sell at between £150,000 and £160,000, which puts it in the territory of the world’s fastest production car, The Bentley Flying Spur. You can be sure that the few hundred or so models are whipped off the dealership showrooms faster than Bond downs a Martini.

Aston Martin chairman and chief executive officer Dr Ulrich Bez added: "The DBS continues our proud and lengthy association with James Bond.

"The DBS is not of the understated elegance of a DB9, nor the youthful agility of the V8 Vantage. It is explosive power in a black tie and has its own unique character which will equal that of James Bond."
