Motorbiker killed in A20 smash at Capel le Ferne

A motorbiker has died after he crashed into the central reservation at Capel le Ferne on the A20.

The rider was with another biker travelling coastbound when the crash happened. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a separate smash, a woman driver was trapped when her car was in a crash with a fire engine answering another call.

It happened at 2am today on the M2 between junctions three and four, when the woman was injured and was trapped in her car.

She was later taken to hospital, but the two dogs travelling in the car were killed.

The M2 was shut between 2am and 6am between junction two and junction five, but has now re-opened.
