A 43-year-old motorcyclist died instantly when his bike ran out of control near the roundabout at Luton Arches last night.

He was killed after crashing into a Give Way sign on New Road at the junction of Chatham High Street at about 11.20pm.

He had been riding a white Lambretta with two other motorcyclists towards Gillingham when the accident happened. The man,, who has not been named, lived in Medway.
