A MOTORCYCLIST has died in a three-vehicle crash on the M25 on the Kent-Surrey border.

The tragedy happened on the Kent-bound carriageway at around 6.35pm on Tuesday night.

Police say it occurred close to the Clacket Lane Service Station, between junctions six and five, near Sevenoaks.

Long tailbacks of traffic were reported after the anti-clockwise section of the motorway was shut. One of the vehicles was believed to be a lorry.
