A motorcyclist suffered leg injuries after being involved in an accident with a foreign registered lorry this morning near Whitstable.

He is being treated at the QEQM hospital in Margate after the crash at the top of Borstal Hill.

It happened on the roundabout for the junction with the London-bound Thanet Way and the A290 Canterbury Road, around 7.30am.

Police diverted traffic and advised motorists to avoid the area until the scene had been cleared.
