Motorist ambushed by racist thugs

A VICIOUS group of racist thugs is being hunted by police after an attack on a 27-year-old black man.

About 20 white men surrounded the Afro-Caribbean man’s black Renault Clio as he drove through Redfern Avenue, Gillingham.

His car was brought to a stop and the violent gang started to smash their fists against the car and broke the windows shortly after midnight on Sunday, July 2.

A police spokesman said: “Kent Police takes a strong stance against such hate crime and promises to thoroughly investigate those that commit such offences on the grounds of race or sexuality.”
