A speeding motorist was stopped after they were caught travelling at more than 100mph along the A2.

The Ford Focus driver is believed to have been pulled over by officers earlier this morning.

They were clocked by Kent Police's road police unit travelling at 106 mph on the coastbound carriageway of the A2.

A marked police vehicle was stationed on the busy road where a general speed limit of 70mph is in place.

Police say the motorist has been dealt with offences.
