TWO drivers were taken to hospital after a two-car collision on Bekesbourne Hill at Canterbury, close to the A2.

A woman from Bekesbourne, who was driving a Hyundai Stellar, was taken to the William Harvey Hospital at Ashford, and a man from Gillingham, who was driving a Vauxhall Vectra, was taken to the Kent and Canterbury Hospital.

No details have yet been released about the extent of their injuries. Police were called to the scene shortly before 8.30am on Monday.
