KENT Mountain bike enthusiasts are being invited by Testers Saab of Dartford to sign up for the 24-hour endurance race, Mountain Mayhem.

Along with hundreds of teams and individuals of all abilities from around the world, the opportunity to take part comes from Saab GB’s sponsorship of the event in conjunction with Salomon. Entry forms are available from Testers Saab in Princes Road.

Now in its sixth year, Mountain Mayhem is a prestigious event in the international mountain biking calendar and attracts champion bikers from all over the world.

Also known as The People’s Race, it is the only mountain bike race where inexperienced enthusiasts can line up beside their heroes in an attempt to achieve personal goals, raise money for charity and claim the £18,500 prize.

Sponsorship of the event is part of a global partnership between Saab Great Britain, the premium Swedish car manufacturer, and Salomon, the freedom action sports group.

Mountain Mayhem will be held over two days on June 21-22 at Sandwell Park Farm in the West Midlands.
