A mother has been jailed for at least 16 years for kicking and punching her son to death.

Bobby Louch was just 21 months old when he suffered more than 80 injuries, which ended in his death at the end of 2008.

Collette Harris, 30, of Chapel Close, Crayford, has been convicted of murder at the Old Bailey, after denying the charge.

Harris's boyfriend James Phillips, 25, of Dale View, Erith, was earlier cleared of murder.

Bobby was taken to hospital from Halcot Avenue, Bexleyheath, where he was living with his mum and Phillips.

But he died from multiple injuries.
