Murder charge case is dropped

A GRAVESEND man has been cleared of murder after the prosecution dropped the case against him.

At a hearing last month 39-year-old Surinder Lehal, of Astra Drive, pleaded not guilty to killing Kalmajit Kolan.

Mr Kolan died after being stabbed more than 40 times at the entrance to Gordon Park, off Commercial Road, on July 11.
