A man accused of murdering his younger brother denied the charge when he appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday.

Louis Lumpkin, of Artillery Road, Ramsgate, is alleged to have inflicted multiple stab wounds on Gary Lumpkin, 26, at an address in Northdown Road, Cliftonville, on February 25.

Judge Andrew Patience, QC, set the trial date for November 17. Lumpkin, 28, was remanded in custody.
