A man killed in a car crash has been named as music reviewer Robert Maycock.
The 63-year-old was driving a Citreon Xsara in High Halden, near Ashford, when he left the road and hit a tree.
The founding editor of Classic Music Magazine and former music editor of The Independent, Mr Maycock was also the chairman of serveral Arts Council bodies.
Mr Maycock, pictured left, leaves behind partner Priti Paintal and their children, Alisha and Rohan.
No other vehicle was involved in the crash, at about 10.40am last Wednesday.
