POLICE say they are keeping "an open mind" after a 54-year-old man was found with serious head injuries.

Concerned neighbours called officers to an address in Reach Close, St Margaret's, near Dover shortly after midnight on Monday. The man was taken to hospital.

Det Insp Steve Bridges said: "We are keeping an open mind at this stage about what has happened and are not ruling out the possibility that he may have been assaulted."
