FIAT Auto’s restyled Multipla and new Doblo Family seven-seater, together with the new Panda SUV and the Trepiuno concept car, are all making their UK public debuts at The Sunday Times Motor Show Live, Birmingham NEC which runs until June 6.
The restyled Multipla, which becomes available here later this year, will be represented on the stand in left-hand drive form, and retains all the widely acclaimed attributes of the previous model.
The recently revised Fiat Doblo range went on sale in the UK two months ago, featuring improved interiors, upgraded specifications, two new engines, and - this month - the introduction of a new Family seven-seater MPV.
Priced from £9,095 to £11,295 on-the-road, the Doblo range features two 1.2 8v petrol and two 1.9 JTD diesel versions, with 1.3 MultiJet Active and 1.3 MultiJet Family versions completing the six model line-up.
Fiat will also be exhibiting two versions of the award-winning Panda range and a left-hand drive version of the forthcoming new Panda SUV, which is due to go on sale here next year. This extrovert off-road vehicle is derived from the Simba, a 4WD concept car.
Designed by Fiat Centro Stile, the Fiat Trepiuno concept car represents the theme of “back to the future”. The prototype is a modern reworking of the cars that marked the first wave of mass motorisation in Italy.
Also on the stand will be the new Fiat Idea, which is Fiat Auto’s first entry in the mini-MPV market. Although its exterior dimensions are only marginally bigger than the average supermini, its interior space is enormous. Two versions of the Idea will be on the Fiat stand.
Three versions of the recently revised Stilo range will also be on show. The new range features a revised model line-up.
